In today’s culture, where feelings are the governing authority, gratitude is considered crucial. And it should be. But without someone to express gratitude to, it becomes just an empty feeling that goes no further than yourself.

When we crowd so many activities, people, and responsibilities into our lives, there is little time or energy left for any sort of joy. Even those things that started out as fun, can choke the enjoyment out of life if we allow them. How can I stop being so busy in life?

I have long been a shoe girl. For me, I just love the way they look. I love the way my feet feel in them, the many changing designs that they produce, and the fact that I can dress them up for work, or down with a pair of jeans on the weekends.
